Sibelius has robust note entry features. One of the nicest things included by the creators is the incredibly simple interval entry: Press the key on your keyboard that corresponds to the interval after selecting the note you wish to add an interval to. For example, press “4” to enter the fourth. You may choose items based on pre-established criteria using the Filter menu. The Filter menu is intimidating when first seen since it is simply so large. But after some time, you’ll discover that it serves as a ray of hope when everything else seems lost. The filter menu contains two things that are quite helpful: You may choose every hidden object in “Hidden Objects.”
